NORTHWEST PEACE is a group of volunteers who are seeking to promote peace in the world by introducing audiences in the Pacific Northwest to the practical message of Prem Rawat.
TRAVELING THE WORLD FOR OVER FOUR DECADES, his message is simple and profound. It is independent of and compatible with any philosophy, religion, or spiritual path. At the UN Conference Center in Bangkok, he said, “Peace needs to be in everyone’s life. The peace we are looking for is within. It is in the heart, waiting to be felt. It is not the world that needs peace; it is people. When people in the world are at peace within, the world will be at peace.”
Prem Rawat’s award-winning television series, "Words Of Peace" is broadcast to 25 million viewers on 6 continents on a weekly basis. His message of peace is made available in more than 90 countries and 70 languages. From the United Nations Conference Center in Bangkok to the Australian and Italian Parliaments, from Harvard University to Oxford University he has been invited to present his unique perspective of peace.
Through the Prem Rawat Foundation, people in need are helped by providing nutritious food and clean water. TPRF has provided millions of free hot meals to people in Africa, Asia, the Americas, and the Middle East. The Foundation partners with non-profit organizations such as Friend of the World Food Program, Oxfam, Action Against Hunger or the Red Cross.
